My Promise
Your day, shot naturally. That’s my promise to every couple I have the joy of working with. Your wedding day should never feel like a photo shoot. My goal is to tell the story of you and your love for one another, and it’s my job to capture the day as it really happened. It’s why I choose to work with a limited number of clients each year — you deserve my full attention.
From the beginning of starting this business, I made the decision to deliver a more personalised experience to a smaller number of couples, rather than becoming a company focused on volume.
I love to work with couples who just want to enjoy the day and put their own spin on things. I’ll still do a few family photos and a short session with just the two of you, but for the vast majority of the day, my aim is for you to feel as natural and confident in front of the camera as possible — so you can focus on enjoying your big day. If you don't get your canopies - then I have f****d up x.
I’m a perfect fit for couples who wouldn’t normally consider themselves “photo people,” or those who just want to have a blast and not overthink the photographs.

Alright, it is the corny bit. I bloody love my job. I almost think that's all you need to know... But, genuinely, I love that high I get on a wedding day when I'm in my flow state and I can see the couple are just having the best time.
As for how I got into this, I used to work in film and TV because I thought that would be my dream job... then, while I was doing that, a friend asked (well... forced, thanks Megan) me to shoot hers. And I knew pretty much right away that working with couples on a small scale meant so much more to me than any reward I ever got working on big productions. So I packed in a contract on a Netflix production, decided to go solo, and I have never looked back.
With more than seven years shooting weddings full-time, I've shot several hundred weddings by now (yikes, that makes me feel old!). Over that time, I've been lucky enough to work at some of Scotland's top venues, from stately homes to hidden loch-side spots. I've shot at Dunglass Estate, Broxmouth Courtyard, The Cowshed Crail, Kinkell Byre, Drumtochty Castle, Archerfield House, Balbirnie House, The Royal College, Surgeons' Quarter, Gilmerton House, Wedderburn Castle, Lindores Abbey and many, many more. I’ve also had the chance to shoot all over the UK, as well as Sweden, France and even Jamaica (alright, that one is cheating a bit as it was my big sister's wedding, but she still did hire me).
But while the cool places are a perk, the thing that matters most is the amazing couples I get to work with, who make shooting weddings the best job in the world. And I am not just saying that. When you meet a bride who tells you, “I am going to arrive at the ceremony on the back of a tractor,” you think, “Hell yeah, you are my kind of weird.”
Do you hate being on camera…? Want to know a secret? So do I. Like, I properly find it awkward. In a weird way, this has always been one of my strengths as a photographer, because I totally get it. I know how awkward it can feel to be plonked in front of a lens and told to smile… so that is exactly why I avoid it. I want your time with me to feel natural, easy, and relaxed. To be honest, if you love being on camera and the centre of attention? I might not be the guy for you... as I really can't relate.
